This bedroom has a double bed and the added decor of the original green tiled fire place. This was discovered when doing some renovation, some paint remover dropped on to the hearth by accident which reveled the green tiles. Both the hearth and insert tiles had been painted over the years. It is a south facing room and shares the view of Frostrow Fell with Great Coombe and Whernside beyond. Over the fireplace you will find a picture of an owl. This is in place of the real one which used to fly down the chimney and sit on the end of the bed.
