The Mount has four bedrooms and sleeps eight people. Two of the rooms have double beds and two can either have two single beds or a super king size in each.
Walking on the Howgill Fells (mountains) couldn't be easier - the footpath is just through the Farmyard. A walk or cycle around the country lanes from the house can be just as rewarding with the picturesque views.
The central location makes the house an ideal base for touring the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Park.
There is no additional fee for electricity or heating, and the linens and towels are provided for you. As well as dishwashing liquid, and laundry detergent we also provide a starter supply of such things as kitchen roll (paper towel), bin bags (garbage bags) and toilet paper.
Children are welcome from any age and we can arrange for a tour of the farm (accompanied by an adult) so they can see and pet some of the animals. You can now also adopt an animal from the farm so when you come and stay there may be an opportunity for you to see the animal you have adopted. Although 'The Mount' is situated next to a working farm, you have your own private enclosed garden so the children can play outside safely.
The water supply to the house is from a spring which is uv filtered for your convenience.
